About
Kimberly Saltiel is a contemporary impressionist artist and teacher living in the Pacific Northwest. Artistically, her passion is to capture nature in a way that inspires people and reminds us of a deeper good. Her journey began at the age of 16, when a move from Washington state to Paris, France wove together a love of nature and exposure to beautiful art. Kim has a masters degree in Art History as well as training at the National Academy of Fine Arts in New York, The New York Botanical Gardens as well as Gage Academy in Seattle. After 24 years of living in artistic mecca’s such as Paris and New York, Kim returned to her childhood home here in Washington. Now, in addition to her own works, Saltiel runs and operates creative retreats where supportive instruction combined with the natural beauty of Washington State leaves participants feeling uplifted and confident.
Kim’s paintings have been featured in several solo exhibits, including an exhibit of 52 works at The Washington Center for Performing Arts. Her paintings are found in collections throughout the US and France.
